Charlize Theron
I photographed Charlize for a Guess? Handbags advertising
campaign. The shoot was originally a "product only"
shoot but somehow at the last minute (the afternoon before) the
client asked that we shoot the handbags with a model. If I remember
properly, I was in a combined state of excitement and panic.
I was incredibly excited about the shoot becoming a model shoot
but I was very concerned that on such short notice nobody great
would be available. As you can see, luck was with me.
Charlize was incredible. Shot after shot she gave
me so much. She was such a total natural in front of the camera.
We may have shot 60+ rolls. Every idea I had was brought to life
by her posing and expression. A photographers dream she was.
Shooting Charlize Theron was definitely one of the more memorable
experiences in my career. Thanks Charlize!
