A truly beautiful person. This is a test shoot that was done in about 1990 in a Sounthern California cactus garden. Styling by Mel Grayson. The shoot was an experiment or "test" in mixing a strobe spotlight with natural light. I was shooting some of the photos with 4x5 polaroid only with a plan to make negatives and then prints from the polaroids later. The colors and contrast in the top pictures series are beautiful in the original 4x5 polaroids. The deep blue's and greens in contrast with Nicole's body caught by the strobe is amazing. Note the fall-off from the strobe light fethering up Nicole's arm. She's wearing a black towel. Go Back
